Styccobond F46 is a solvent free pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that dries to a permanent tacky film. It is used to reduce the incidence of trowel serrations shadowing through thin vinyl flooring and is designed to give strong initial tack and a high bond strength. It is protected against bio-degradation and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.

Styccobond F46 is used for bonding vinyl finishes o MuteMat® OSF
Styccobond F46 can also be used to bond MuteMat® OSF to non-absorbent substrates such as self-levelling resin compounds.

FAQs

Styccobond F46 adhesive for installation of vinyl coverings over our MuteMat® OSF range, and although adhesive does not provide any immediate soundproofing benefit, its role in the system is still important. When you install a wooden flooring for example or composite flooring, made up of many layers, moisture over time will begin to warp the flooring. When the flooring warps it lends itself to ‘slapping’ against the flooring, causing a form of impact noise that is difficult to reduce without replacing. Adhesive helps to reduce this warping and to keep all composite levels in-check and to satisfy Building Control requirements.
