This typically occurs when an interior space contains a high number of reflective surfaces, such as solid walls, glass and tiles, which causes excessive reverberation of sound.
We worked with Leeds City Museum to assess the internal acoustic environment for a series of conference rooms, meeting rooms and lecture theatres. We carried out reverberation and impulse response testing and modelling in Odeon to provide a strategy for acoustic treatment to optimise the spaces for their intended use.
