Blue Cloth Tape is a specialist durable tape that is both waterproof as well as being weatherproof against cold temperatures down to -10°C. It is to be used with our MuteMat® range to help keep them together and reduce problematic overlapping overtime. It is also easier during the adhesive phase, if required so that they do not move around individually or curl up.

Are there any specific qualities gained from choosing Blue Cloth Tape over Black Cloth Tape?
Blue Cloth Tape or Cold Tape has an increased temperature range in where use in colder environments does not affect the adhesive, there are often cases where installation of soundproofing materials in colder months lend to all the tape of the joins becoming loose because the cold weather has worn the adhesive.
