Noise Impact Assessment for a Food Manufacturing Site.

Project Brief: We supported Pukka Pies with their environmental permitting application process which involved providing a detailed analysis of the noise emissions of their complex industrial facility.

Firstly, we established the background sound levels at the closest dwellings to the site to produce a robust baseline for the assessment. We then undertook a detailed analysis of the noise emissions from the site and assessed the extent of impact in accordance with BS4142:2014+A1:2019.

This allowed us to supply the best advice and guidance to ensure that noise emissions were well managed and evidencing compliance with the environmental permitting requirements.
