Although Aluminium Tape offers no soundproofing performance, it is an essential tape that accompanies our MuteWrap to conceal gaps and maintain its foil finish.

Aluminium Tape is used to conceal the joins made on our MuteWrap product both vertically and horizontally. The tape is aluminium because of the foil facing of the MuteWrap so that it’s appearance is consistent throughout.

Aluminium Tape is used in conjunction with our MuteWrap™ to maintain the aluminium facing along all joints, often you will find that the mustard-like colour of the MuteWrap™ appearing through.
Aluminium Tape offers no additional soundproofing when applied, it is purely to maintain the aluminium aesthetic of MuteWrap™.
