More Information
Create opaque dividers with no mural design for vast open spaces that do not wish to build walls and doors, but find reverb to be an issue. This can range in performance depending on its final mural cut out, but the suspension of any Sound Absorption material in a free-standing space allows the exposure of more surfaces which increases to the reduction of sound energy bouncing around the room. Typically we see Suspended Note™ in a Class A category.

- Noise Reduction Coefficient of 1.00 (average of 100% across all frequencies)
- Made from 100% polyester fibres
- A durable structure providing long-lasting stability

Have your own idea?
If you are an interior designer working closely on intricate and expressive designs, or you are an individual bursting with beautiful ideas for your new environment, we can help those ideas or basic sketches, mental or visual – come to life!
Our in-house design team can help you every step of the way by bringing them to the physical world as we look at how each idea is best structured and how it will fit together,
Then we create visualisations of each space (both existing spaces or new spaces alongside the architect’s visualisation) to see how they will look in placement. We then send this off to our cutting team who have state-of-the-art precision cutting tools – and then finally we send these flat packed to your installation team, or our installation team if you’re looking for the whole package.
Is it suitable for my space?
Your space could be one that adopts the full range of a wall to wall space to create a particular feeling of openness, it could be a gymnasium of significant size that finds weights being dropped are reverberated through an entire area. Or it could be a classroom to where the pupils or students are pressed to hear anything clearly and thus losing attention, concentration and missing relevant information. In any of these scenarios, our ScreenNote™ can be used to create free-standing partitions without the creation of a wall.

FAQs
Solutions for reverberation are treated on a room to room basis, there is no set amount required for a certain size, or for specific shapes for there are multiple structural properties that can shape the soundscape. The volume of the room by size is a significant factor, but there is also the geometry of the room and how it creates different reflections, and there is the material make-up of the space, whether it is breeze block walls or full glass partitions – each reacts to sound differently. It is easy to recognise when reverberation is an issue for anyone struggling to communicate will make it evident even if not direct, hard reflective spaces like sports halls are an excellent example of where excessive reverb is problematic – mainly when it is used for assemblies of pupils or used as lecture and event talks. In short, there is no immediate answer to these particular questions without knowing the following:
The room size.
Geometry, for instance, pitched roof with an octagon shape would have a completely different trajectory of sound than a simple rectangle room with a flat roof.
What each surface has as a building material, for instance, a polished wooden floor with exposed breezeblock walls and a wood panel ceiling.
First we aim to create an estimated acoustic modelling of the room or look to carry out an Acoustic Test, we then we look at required levels alongside your budget in mind for introducing Suspended Note™ to your space and discussing visual requirements to how you would like each Note™ to appear in terms of colour scheme and their arrangement.
ScreenNote™ is made of 100% Polyester Fibres which makes it safe for almost any internal application for there are not exposed irritants or loose fibres – of this 65% comes from Post Consumer Recycled Content with 35% from Pre Consumer Recycled PET fibres.
Fire Rating is measured under EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009: B – s1, d0.
