Workplace Noise Assessments: ITV Leeds, Manchester & London.

Working in partnership with ITV, we provided a series of workplace noise assessments in Leeds, Manchester and London. The purpose of the assessment was to quantify exposure and determine the employer’s compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 to ensure that the working environment does not overexpose employees to noise.

Onsite spot measurements and personal dosimeters were used to assess the noise levels at the worker locations where noise is expected to be an issue. The measured sound levels allowed the employees daily dose to be calculated and a risk assessment is undertaken for each area under assessment. We generated an action plan to ensure appropriate protective measures are implemented including noise control via technical and operational means.
