Achieving good levels of Sound Insulation to ensure you pass your sound test and achieve Part E compliance can seem a daunting task. We have put together a myriad of commonly used soundproofing wall and soundproofing floor solutions, with the simple aim of achieving passing your Part E sound test. We have selected a range of products which we have tested frequently and are confident in their onsite performance. So look no further your sound testing, acoustic design and product supplier is looking right at you.

Isocheck 27C, 23C & 14C acoustic floor systems are designed to reduce impact sound transmission through concrete floors, this system does not need the additional protection of a moisture barrier (VCL) vapour control layer because the Isopoli will not absorb the moisture from a virgin screed.

Isocheck 27C and 23C consists of a 5.5 mm layer of cross-linked Isopoli bonded to 18mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard, whereas Isocheck 14C consists of a 5.5 mm layer of cross-linked ‘Isopoli’ bonded to 9mm moisture resistant medium density fibreboard.

When installed as part of an Isomass approved party floor construction it enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission standards of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010, 2013 and 2015.
